Refund Policy

At SkySavage Films, we aim to provide high quality aerial services. Because drone operations are highly dependent on weather, airspace regulations, and flight planning, we have established the following refund and cancellation policy.

By booking our services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Deposits and Booking Confirmation

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking.

Bookings are not confirmed until a signed Drone Services Agreement is received (typically via email) and the deposit is paid.

Discounts must be applied before the deposit is paid and the booking is finalized.

2. Cancellations by the Client

More than 48 hours notice: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled shoot time will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.

Less than 48 hours notice: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot will forfeit the deposit and will be charged in full. However, you will receive a 25% discount (calculated based on the cost of the cancelled booking) that may be claimed on a future booking.

No-shows: If the client is not present at the location or the location is inaccessible upon arrival, the deposit will be forfeited, and the client will be charged in full.

3. Cancellations by Us

If we are forced to cancel your booking at any time due to an emergency, equipment malfunction, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund including the deposit.

4. Weather and Safety Cancellations

Drone flights are subject to safe weather conditions and Transport Canada regulations.

We monitor the weather forecast 5 days in advance of every booking. If the forecast is not looking good, we will reach out to the client approximately 48 hours prior to the shoot.

If postponing is necessary due to poor weather (high winds, rain, snow or extreme cold temperatures) or unexpected Transport Canada flight restrictions, we will work with you to reschedule on the next suitable date. This incurs no additional cost, and the deposit will be transferred to the new date.

If rescheduling is not possible due to factors out of our control, such as a live event or client availability, a full refund minus the deposit will be issued.

If we agree to go ahead with the original booking date but the weather still happens to be poor, we will wait on site as long as possible in hopes of a break in the weather. In this case, there are no guarantees, and you will be charged in full regardless of whether or not any footage is captured.

5. Service Results and Deliverables

As drone services are creative and highly dependent on environmental conditions, we do not guarantee specific, artistic outcomes.

If the data or imagery produced is materially flawed due to operator error (i.e. severe focus issues, incorrect resolution), we will offer a free reshoot or a partial refund at our discretion.

Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with the artistic style or for circumstances outside our control (i.e. changing weather during the shoot, lighting conditions, pedestrians or vehicles present, etc.).

6. Refund Process

To request a cancellation or refund, please email us at help@skysavagefilms.com with your invoice number.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
